"You're all
alone, and an old horror film is showing on late night
T.V. - a group of zombies is prowling through a misty
wood. Suddenly, one of the zombies turns towards you and
starts beating on the T.V. screen. As the set explodes
outwards and a rotting hand reaches for your throat, you
realise it's too late to hit the "pause"
button... You're a victim of the Video Dead."
Hold on.... I thought it said a
late night film showing on T.V. How can you pause a T.V.
film? Is this set in the future? Is this the dawning of
the DIGITAL T.V. DEAD? Anyway, I don't know what it is
about this film, but I liked it lots. Great idea, great
to watch at night when your house mate is leaving for
Greece at about 1am.

Vampire
Circus
"Set in a small
Eastern European town in the early 19th century, this
chilling tale concerns the terrible vengeance of a gypsy
woman attached to a travelling circus. All who cross her
path perish horribly as she fulfills the dying curse of a
vampire count. This production set new standars in horror
that many feel have yet to be equalled."
Well I think that it has not only
been equalled now, but surpased. It was filmed in a
"Blair Witch" documentary style - crappy camera
shots and all. But has the Hammer House of Horrors ever
come up with a duff 'un?
