February 2009
(Almost Easter!)

Horrorvault 2009 will bring you More Content, More Downloads, More Previews, More Interviews and More Reviews.

We have re-vamped the site. De-cluttered all the bits that no-one looked at so we can focus on the bits that you really wanted.

Following the feedback we got last year, you wanted to see more trailers for the films we review. This has now started. See below for "The Ghouligans! Super Show!" trailer. See also the updated NEW RELEASE section, which has trailers for the much anticipated "The Unborn" and "Hush".

We are still working on the site, adding new content daily, so check back. The list of Videos / DVDs in the Horrorvault Film Index is the next job. It's gonna be a big one - so be patient!

Horrorvault.

The Competitions will continue in 2009.

As always, contact us at Horrorvault if you would like to see one of your films added to this site, or if you have any comments regarding the reviews found here.

The Ghouligans! Super Show!

Released 2008

Welcome to DVD 2 by the Slack Pack team. The Ghouligas! Super Show! is a mix of short sketches interspersed with super cool rockabilly music and surf guitar clips.ml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

We are introduced to the characters, Boris the Creature, The Count, The Wolf Man,  Gillman, the Mummy and Void the Zombie who all mix in together to make 40 minutes of unmissable fun.

The team plays homage to the 60’s and 70’s horror TV shows where the costumes were suspicious and the puns were bad. However, they are not simply copying this style, they are adding there own sense of fun and comic genius. The timing of some of the gags is awful, but somehow totally absorbing and leaves you waiting in anticipation for what’s coming next.

The Ghouligans! Definitely needs a few tweaks to make it really great but from an indie team it’s an amazingly well put together piece. As with the first DVD the music is fantastic and well placed. The camera work was great and so were the special effects.

The Ghouligans! Are truly a force to be reckoned with and look set to take us all by storm. It’s a treat to be reminded of all those classic black and white programmes that we misspent our youths watching.

We want more!
