"Not long ago in a galaxy too close for comfort, the rebel aliance intercepted some secret transmissions from Imperial leader, Lord Buckethead. Buckethead and his alien cohorts mistakenly traced the transmissions to the planet Earth, where they found a peculiar and frustrating new resistance at work... Now the fate of mankind is in the hands of a pest control expert, a geriatric superhero and a speech-impedimented alien with a coal-scuttle for a head in this outrageous comedy."

Superb special effects and an all star cast make this film what it is today. Some may be familiar with the plot but no one will be prepared for the humour.

Ghost Keeper

"Set in the Rocky mountains, 'GHOSTKEEPER' is based on the Indian legend of the 'Windigo' (a creature who devours human flesh) and those who are destined to keep such beasts as one of their own."

Well yes. Suspense, Horror and Drama are found elsewhere.

"The Kenedy Badlands. Miles from civilisation there lies a hideous secret. A secret hidden by time, a secret protected by hundreds of years of in-breeding, a secret so vile that once unearthed will reap its horrible revenge."

It wasn't that much of a secret after all. I watched this one after a couple of beers and got quite excited when I saw the copyright on the cover. It was only in the cold light of morning that I realised the copyright was infact "DEAN CROW" and not "DEAD COW". Nevermind.

Garden of Death

"A modern day horror tale! A hospital patient receives an anonymous floral arrangement. The flowers bloom and grow as the woman weakens and dies. At the funeral Ellen meets her best friend Helena. Ellen pays a condolance call on the dead woman's husband and sees the family gardener Carl. Carl has the unexplained ability to make plants and flowers grow with beauty and scent that has never been known before. Following his wife's death, Fred decides to leave their home. Ellen offers Carl employment and he readily accepts."

To be honest, the description on the back goes on for about a page more. It basically tells you the whole plot story and ending.

Girls School Screamers

"7 college girls spend the weekend at an estate which begins as a fun adventure but ends in a nightmare of gut wrenching terror. Caught up in the morbid atmosphere of the estate during their first night in the mansion, the girls hold a seance in the parlour. They receive a hint of the strange happenings to come as the Ouija board they are playing with spells out a bizarre message. As they seek out the hideous truth about life and death struggles which have marked a history of the Wells estate, the girls dissapear, one by one. The suspense builds to a bone chilling level and the action reaches a blood curdling pace as the girls discover bodies of their lifeless friends.
Who or what is doing the killing? Is it a ghostly presence... or a psychotic fiend? Who, if anyone, will live to tell the tale?"

Or was it Henry, the mild mannered janitor? Troma Films do it again.
