"If you think
Lionel seems ok, then you haven't met his family!
Mother's boy Lionel Cosgrave is 25 and has never been
kissed. Then one fateful day in 1957, Lionel's uneventful
existence changes forever. Drawn to the lovely Paquita, a
young Spanish girl from the local corner shop, the couple
plan a tryst at the nearby zoo. Thinking themselves alone
at last, the young lovers are unaware that their every
move is being observed from the bushes by Lionel's
possessive mum. Sneaking close, mum stumbles against a
cage which contains a vicious Sumatran Rat Monkey which
duly sinks its toxic fangs deep into her flesh. When the
strange wound transforms into a putrefying virus, Lionel
and the unwitting Paquita are sent spiralling into
endless nightmare."
Well, well, well.... What an
interesting way to use a Flymo.

Bad Taste
"Lord Crumb and his army of aliens have
landed on Earth. Already a small town has been packed in
boxes ready to become the latest taste sensation to hit
the galaxy..... Earth's Government issue a full-scale
alert and unleash their first line of defence, 'The Boys'
- Derek, Frank, Oz and Barry... Will Lord Crumb succeed
in turning the human race into 'Crumbs Crunchy Delights'?
Or will the Boys stop him?"
This really is Bad Taste. Directed
by the same person that did Brain Dead I think?

Bad Blood
Unfortunately I lost the cover to this
exotic horror movie so you can't have the usual run-down
of whats going on from the back of the box... So I
will make up an alternate back cover story.
"Platinum pictures presents BAD BLOOD - no other
film wanted to associate itself with this one so there
are no trailers. A health freak office worker gets drawn
into an artists fantasy nightmare when he discovers a
portrait of himself created by an artist before he was
born. The artist then proclaims to be his mother. Strange
night walking scenes, carrot weilding maids, mystery
illnesses and uncomfortable looking campbeds make up the
rest of this disturbing chiller."
Sick film, but don't get too
excited.

Basket
Case
"Why does he feed
it hamburgers and frankfurters? (Whatever it is, it
certainly has no table manners!) Why does he speak softly
through the wickerwork and then occasionally turn it
loose to wreak bloody revenge on unscrupulous doctors?
One of the funniest black comedy horror films to come out
of Hollywood for years, with elements of Psycho, King
Kong and Blood Sisters, it was shot mainly on location
around Times Square, New York and features what is
possibly the most bizarrely realised monster yet to
splatter your screen!"
Well, if you believe the stuff
written on the cover it's great - shot in Times Square
don't you know. Actually it's less like the movies it
mentioned and more like a bad Blue Peter creation. Too
predictable, too tame.

Blood
Diner
"Grab a table at
BLOOD DINER - a cut above the rest! Everythings fresh,
every day. Slice and dice your way to a horrifyingly good
time in this spicy delight with more than a dash of
humour. The Tutman brothers run the most popular
restaurant in town. Popular, that is, if you're the
county coroner. The chef has a real human touch with his
recipes - he's grilling up a storm at the restaurant that
serves the best 'brainfood in town'. No one is safe, as
the brothers attempt to ressurect Sheetar, the ancient
and deadly Goddess of blood and lust. Will her eventual
return bring the brothers their just deserts?"
This is a must for anyone who likes
a mix of horror and comedy. You will
laugh, you may even laugh lots. Great deep fat fryer
scene.

Blood
Tracks
"A blood bath of
terrifying violence is created when a group of rock
musicians and their film crew venture deep into the snowy
mountains to shoot scenes for their latest video. The
group are left stranded after being cut off by a series
of avalanches, and are forced to take refuge in a remote
mountain cabin. The crew decide on a nearby disused power
station as the next shooting location, but soon discover
that they are not alone as they and the group fall into
the clutches of the wild, mutant like creatures that
inhabit the power station. Fearing that their territory
and existence is being threatened they unleash a bloody
reign of terror upon their unsuspecting victims."
Great story line - great naked snow
scenes! As for the "mutant like creatures",
they look more like scruffy human beings, but the idea
was there.

Breeders
"No one was safe. At first only
beautiful young women fell prey to ghastly aliens who
drifted down to earth as deadly spores, taking over the
minds and bodies of their victims. This unearthly menace
will stop at nothing in a deadly race to breed and ensure
its survival. In a secret lair, in a place hidden well
away from prying eyes, the alien creatures hold their
victims in a state of suspended animation. Unless the
aliens are stopped the human race will become hosts to
the alien's parasitic invasion and only two people know
the secret of stopping them."
"...They must be
stopped!" from making any more films. Low budget
horror yarn. Blame it on the aliens type thing.
Interesting use of a disused railway line.
