This is the story of the HORRORVAULT.
From it's meagre beginnings to the site it is today.

I dreamt up an idea to start a collection of odd videos many years ago whilst chatting with a work colleague who shared a similar fascination with bizarre videos. And a similar hatred for the stinky basement we worked in. The collection started growing slowly,
my first purchase being the Evil Dead Trilogy.
This got me hooked.
I then went out to try and find Day of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead.
My collection had started.
Pretty soon I had a decent collection of videos cluttering up my house.
A little later on I signed up for a dial up account to get email facilities, this account gave me some free web space.
I spent ages sitting in a room full of videos, trying to decide what I should use my new found web space for.
Then it hit me.
HORRORVAULT
was born.
After a number of URL and name changes, I have ended up here,

www.horrorvault.co.uk
Over about 3 years the site has grown, I've added video clips and sound clips, I've taken away the picture clips page - I still haven't decided whether to bring it back or not.
The collection on-line is about 80% complete. There are still more videos in my collection to add, so keep your eyes peeled.
I also have my eye on spreading my collection to DVD's aswell.
This will increase my site considerably, but at the moment I feel the old classics just aren't available on DVD.
Maybe soon.
At the moment though, I am happy trailing through second hand shops keeping an eye out for that all time classic, or that dodgey video nasty or even just a blood and guts romp.
I'm not fussy, as long as it's cheap.
Of course, I have now added the new releases section to keep you coming back.
I hope you enjoy this site as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
